Finally I’ve found some time to customize my blog with tiny change: FB:Like Plugin – Whenever you LIKE it – let me know. This will be shared with your friends and help me spread my ideas. Tip #1 - FB:Like Plugin If you are using dasblog and you want to add this to your theme use the PermaLinkUrl macro - href=”<%PermalinkUrl%>” Tip #2 – measure using FB insights You can track the trends here http://www.facebook.com/insights BUT in order to see it you should add meta-tag your head <meta property="fb:admins" content="user_id" /> Have fun.
Finally, after a long time I find time to upgrade my blog to the newly 2.3 version. I had many problems installing this version Go-daddy, Monorail and SecurityException. The last one was also the funny one, after Google-ing a little bit, I found this post by Gabel one of my co-workers. What’s new? So first I created my self a new homepage which you can see here. Second, you can track my reading-list, my twitter statuses and my projects (will be published later). Have fun.
Yoav sent me this web site. I like the idea of sharing knowledge, I also like to read and learn from open sources. This is even better: daily -public- code review...
After almost two years on Pasha's shared host (ServerGrid) I've finally got my blog to have its own home, I am hosting on GoDaddy.com. {Pasha - thank you for everything}
What's new:
- new host server
- new theme
- new dasblog version (2.1)
Things to be done (or: still to fix):
- broken links - Images are not located at the right directory
- blogroll - I had the default blogroll which is not my real reading list
I am looking forward to hear you comments.
Next Month: 6-8 April, I'll participate at Teched. I can't wait to meet the people and talk about technology, I invite you to communicate me using "Face2Face Meeting Service" press the image below to redirect to the Face2Face Meeting Service You can also leave a comment at my blog or contact me by Email. Here are some of the subjects I am working with on a daily basis, let's talk about it: - .Net & Architectures (WCF, Code Generators, LINQ, ASP.Net MVC, Silverlight)
- Team foundation server (Scrum Templates, Continuous Integration, Daily Build)
- Agile development (Scrum masters, TDD, Pair programming)
- GIS (ESRI, Alt-ESRI, ArcGIS Explorer)
Let's Talk-Ed.
This post is a test case 1: using (AddIn.CodeSnippet())
2: {
3: TestThisMethodInMyBlog();
4: I.HopeItWillFinallyWorkInBothBlogAndRssReaders();
5: }
Hope it will work
After updating the blog to the 1.9 dasblog version - I hope that now I could write my code better. int j = 5;
GoGoPowerRangers();
foreach(int i in currentList)
Console.Write(i);
Miky is a very talented boy, I've had the pleasure working with him, and now he left us to a new team BI stuff. Finally opening a new (secret) blog,
Pay attention to this guy.
I finally found time to test the LiveWriter(Beta) and this is my first test to add a post to my blog, It looks pretty cool and easy for now. Me Editing this post using my new LiveWriter(Beta) I'll probably have more thought later.
I've Added new capability to my blog, this called Snap Preview Anywhere. You probably see this before in some Web2.0 sites, but I was surprised how easy is to add it to yours.
I like this new feature of mine :).
Small snap preview of a small snap preview for DasBlonde blog
You should try this too.
P.S. 1 This cool feature of snapshots is enable only on the left panel, (links and blogrolls). I should check why this ain't work on the main page, I think that dasblog saves its links using *.ashx instead of pure href.
P.S. 2 I would like to hear your opinions about this feature and other recommendations for new features.
I am not sure yet what is the problem, but I have a strange syndication error, I read Oren's post about his Syndicate bug but I found out that mine Syndication error occurs even when I simply write and publish. like this post (which did not saved before published).
Oren even check with Scott Hanselman but they couldn't reproduce his error. I'll check my xml files and and keep updating later on.
For almost a week my site is suffer from unknown crashes, I cannot determine what are the causes for this behavior but I am trying to fix it.
The Strange thing is that I am sitting on the same machine with Pasha Bitz and with this blog which they both using dasblog and still working perfect.
I want to apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully find the causes and fix it.
Other Pictures and some useful links...
I've wrote a huge article about my last two months at work, this article should be the GIS bible for beginners, but when I submit the article, it redirected me to an access denied page, cannot track my post and cannot go back to find my article.
don't worry I'll write this again, but probably in small chunks.
That was the most tedious 2 months I've ever had and damn I love my life. First of all, I would like to thank to all of you that look for me and send me those lovely emails. Second, I should explain those two months, I've finished my first semester of first year (MSc. in Computer Science), I had my exams (the grades are pretty well, thanks for asking), I've also worked on a big project about searching the web using Text Mining, that was very interesting. While I was writing my project (.Net of course) I've started my second semester and I was flooded by new homeworks in Algorithms and Computer networks, and it never stops, so I am a bit busy this year. Lastly, At Job, we've start checking out the coolest thing ever, GIS Server (comprehensive platform for delivering enterprise geographical information systems), I would write on it further more at my next posts. The great thing is that we are pioneers of this tool in Israel, and even around the world there is a very little knowledge.
So, I am back, stay tuned.
A dear friend of mine, Pasha Bitz, is suffering from a strange behavior of unwanted comments, I couldn't find yet the source for this strange-meaningless-comments but what I did found out is that Pasha doesn't use the captcha component for preventing malicious robots hurting your site.
Here is an example for this robot's work.
I hope I'll find this robot and hack it down.
Finally I've got importance ranking by Google (2/10). You can see this in your Google Toolbar.
I've tried almost everything, but my main advice to you is to be patient.
Thanks Google.
I've added my Human-Debugger icon to my main page so from now on - you can see the HD Icon on the left hand of your address bar and in your favorites.
All you need to do to enjoy my icon:
- Add my main page: the www.human-debugger.net to your favorites.
- I recommend to close the browser and re-open it (some of the browsers need this one for
showing the icon).
- Browse to your favorites and view the link to my page. (it is already showing the new icon)
- Browse to the link and that's all - you can see the icon in your browser address bar.
Enjoy my new icon.
Hello all, I thought about it a lot, should I write my own weblog? Or maybe use an existing? To write? About what? which language to choose? (for the programmaholic(i think this is a new word) of you i meant hebrew\english)
finally I decided. . . I will write about: programming, .Net, C#, JavaScript/VBScript, VS.Net and its so-so (middling) designer, css, html, about my secret colleagues, etc.
so, lets the party begin.
